Robotics for Industry.

We’re an Australian-owned robotics and automation company focused on one thing: making commercial grounds maintenance safer, smarter and more cost-effective for the sites that need it most.

Our Principles.

01 — Engineering Led. Every recommendation we make is grounded in real-world testing and technical rigour. We don’t endorse equipment we haven’t personally operated in Australian conditions.

02 — Safety Focused. Autonomous systems exist to keep people away from hazardous tasks. We take that responsibility seriously in how we design deployments and configure boundaries.

03 — Technology Driven. We stay at the frontier of autonomous mowing technology — testing new platforms, monitoring performance data and continuously improving our recommended systems.

04 — Australian Owned. We’re a proudly Australian business, built to serve Australian sites. We understand local conditions, local regulations and the specific demands of operating here.

Why autonomous mowing. Why now.

Australia’s commercial mowing industry faces a structural labour problem. Skilled operators are harder to find, mobilisation costs are rising, and OH&S expectations on difficult terrain are tightening.

Autonomous mowing technology has reached a tipping point. Units that once required careful tending are now robust, weather-capable and commercially viable. We founded AutoMow to bridge the gap between this emerging technology and the facilities managers, engineers and operators who need it most.

We’ve personally tested our recommended systems in Queensland’s heat, on steep slopes, through wet season conditions — because we won’t recommend anything to a client that we haven’t trusted on our own sites first.

Who we are.

Lawn Pilot was co-founded by Warren and Morgan, both technical with backgrounds in asset management and infrastructure. After trialling autonomous mowing systems on pilot sites and seeing the results firsthand, the business case was clear.

We operate as a specialist advisory and deployment business — we help organisations assess their sites, select the right autonomous systems, handle installation and configuration, and provide ongoing support.

We’re currently working with a growing number of pilot sites across Australia, building a track record of real-world deployments that demonstrate what autonomous mowing can deliver at commercial scale.
